Se vi è mai capitato di ricevere un pacco dal Giappone e di rimanere stupiti da quanto tutto fosse presentato alla perfezione, è esattamente così che mi ha fatto sentire Falk. L'esperienza di unboxing è stata una vera gioia: meticolosa, elegante e senza alcun segno di danneggiamento. Ma la vera protagonista è la pentola stessa. I inherited a beautiful Falk 18cm saucepan from a dear friend, but it didn't have a lid. I was a bit concerned as to whether a new lid would be a good fit, as the saucepan was more than 20 years old. However, I should have known I had nothing to worry about. The new lid fits my saucepan perfectly! Wonderful Falk service, as usual. :)

Ho ereditato una bellissima casseruola Falk da 18 cm da un caro amico, ma non aveva il coperchio. Ero un po' preoccupato che un nuovo coperchio potesse non adattarsi bene, dato che la casseruola aveva più di 20 anni. Tuttavia, avrei dovuto sapere che non avevo nulla di cui preoccuparmi. Il nuovo coperchio si adatta perfettamente alla mia casseruola! Ottimo servizio Falk, come al solito. :)

It's a lid.

Why should you be excited? It's a proper, traditional lid with no steam hole.

If I'm bringing something to the boil, I can shift the lid slightly to stop it rattling or foaming over.

It looks beautiful, like all Falk items.

Like the pans, these lids are an investment - accept no substitute! (You might've guessed, I really like mine)

Why only 99%? It would be 100% if it was transparent! Current science doesn't allow for that, unfortunately.

I am absolutely delighted with the lid I bought for my 18cm saucier pan which also fits my 18cm sugar pan.The fit is perfect and while the handle will heat up, this isn't a problem, I am used to using a tea towel, oven glove 9r potholder when cooking.

I look forward to being able to use my saucier pan as a "cooker top to oven" item, with the addition of the lid. Being, a deux, with hubby, now the chicks have flown the nest, I find 18cm is just right for two.

I adore the controllability of heat with my copper pans, especially when making caramel, conserves and sauces or scrambled eggs.

. . . and, hey, they look good displayed in my kitchen! I found a copper rail with copper S hooks and appropriate wall fittings on Etsy! Happy Days 😀

Sono assolutamente soddisfatta del coperchio che ho acquistato per la mia casseruola da 18 cm, che si adatta perfettamente anche alla mia pentola da 18 cm. La misura è perfetta e, anche se il manico si riscalda, non è un problema, perché sono abituata a usare un canovaccio, un guanto da forno o una presina quando cucino.

Non vedo l'ora di poter usare la mia casseruola come un oggetto "dal fornello al forno", con l'aggiunta del coperchio. Essendo in due con mio marito, ora che i pulcini hanno lasciato il nido, trovo che 18 cm siano perfetti per due persone.

Adoro la controllabilità del calore delle mie padelle in rame, soprattutto quando preparo caramello, conserve e salse o uova strapazzate.

. . . e, ehi, stanno benissimo esposte nella mia cucina! Ho trovato una barra in rame con ganci a S in rame e accessori da parete adatti su Etsy! Giorni felici 😀
