Classical Range 18cm Copper Saucier Pan with Cast Iron Handle

"Lovely looking pan"

I love my copper pan. I wanted something solid that would last me many years. This appears to be just what I was after. The pan remains an even heat extremely well. I've not pushed it yet, but it is a pleasure cooking my morning porridge in it. I've got the pan hanging up so I can enjoy the beautiful craftsmanship whenever I'm on the kitchen.

I love the construction which is mostly copper. The heat transfer is amazing allowing very fine control. I use it for so many things. The curved sides allow easy movement of the contents especially with a whisk. It is heavy, but that shows the quantity of material in it. I expect my grandchildren to hand it down to theirs. This is not a cheap, disposable pan but an investment which could improve your cooking results. Falk are not the same as some other copper-looking pans that have a much thicker steel part. These are beautiful traditional copper pans that work as expected. I love them and I'm not sponsored !

I have yet to make proper use of the pan so my experience with it is limited but I have heated it up to condition the stainless steel cooking surface as suggested in the instructions. It was very quick to heat up and adjust to me changing the temperature. It also cooled nicely, much quicker than my other steel and aluminium pans. Its perfectly sized for my needs and the sloped inner surface is an excellent feature to allow me to reach every part. The construction is also excellent, the angle and shape of the handle make it very comfortable to handle. It's fairly weighty but that's to be expected from the all metal construction which I like as it gives an added feeling of quality and substance. It's also an incredibly good looking piece of cookware and at the price point was a fantastic addition to my equipment. Would definitely recommend for anyone who, like me, is taking their first steps into using copper pans.

Sturdy pan which is heavy and well-made. Cooks nicely. There is a sharp ridge nearly 3/4 inch long on the upper side in the metal at top of the handle where the hole for hanging is. I'd say that it shouldn't have made it past quality control. It feels like you could cut your skin on it.

"Handy pan"

Excellent quality. Extremely versatile little (but not so light) saucier pan. Built to last, and extremely useful for most small dishes.

"Beautiful to look at, and to use"

Having decided not to bother again with non-stick pans and make this investment, I was surprised at how non-stick these can be, though I do experience some sticking (possibly because of lack of experience in their use), much less than I expected. I think that possibly a more polished interior would improve its non-stick qualities.
